Accidental Shooting on Pleasant Rd Thursday Night

Dothan - Around 9:54 Thursday night Dothan Communications Dispatched Dothan Fire, Dothan Police and Pilchers Ambulance to male patient with a gunshot wound to the foot. Units responding were advised it was an accidental shooting and the gun was outside. Dothan Fire staged until Dothan Police could confirm this was an accident shotting. Dothan Fire Engine 4 was advised the scene was secure and proceeded in to assess the patient. The patient was transported to a local hospital non-emergency and call changed from gunshot to medical call since it was accidental.
