Allegations Female Took Coffee County Sheriff Patrol Vehicle This Morning - She Is Now In The Coffee County Jail

COFEE COUNTY:     11:18 AM      A Coffee County Deputy was being a nice officer. A white female was walking and needed a ride. The Coffee County Sheriff Deputy was being nice and asked did she need a ride. She did to her grandmother’s.

The grandmother, from UNCONFIRMED sources, did not want her at her house. The Coffee County Deputy had gotten out of his patrol vehicle and walked to the front door and knocked.

The officer did as any nice officer would do, left the car running with the air conditioner on because it was so hot. As the officer was at the door the female jumped into the driver seat of the Coffee County Sheriff Deputy car and took off.

The abandoned Coffee County Sheriff Deputy vehicle was found abandoned in Elba. The female was later located and taken into custody. She is not in the Coffee County Jail in New Brockton. 

Identified as Corie Lamb, white female, age 31 from Elba Alabama. Booked into the Coffee County Jail for Theft of Property in the first degree, booked into the jail at 8:11 AM on this date.

HARD FOR DEPUTIES TO BE NICE these days.
