ASHFORD: Just before kick off of Alabama and Florida, Houston County Sheriff 911 rolled Ashford a Police and Ashford Fire to a vehicle fire. The location was Highway 84 at Battles Road.
Ashfor Fire Chief Jimmy Posey was the first fire unit on the scene. Rolling with the fire truck was the Ashford Mayor. He serves as a member of Ashford Fire.
A east bound pick up truck caught fire.
Ashford Police and Houston County Sheriff Deputy Michelle Brunson was on the scene.
