Baseball Teams Playing At Wicksburg On Thursday

WICKSBURG:    On Thursday evening Cottonwood played Wicksburg in the youngsters baseball. Several teams playing with parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles in attendance.

Our grandson, Brantley, plays for Cottonwood. His team have worked very hard and has a great group of parents coaching and teaching them baseball.

Brantley has been attending a baseball coach for lessons. After his hospitalization and can not do a lot of physical contact sports but baseball was one approved by his doctors.

Brantley and his team mates have a lot of fun. The coaches do good with the boys and girls. Sometimes frustrating when they are not getting it, but you can tell each coach really loves children and want them to play and fun, but learn the sport of baseball and sportsman like conduct.

Brantley did get a good hit last night while playing. Before going up to bat he was explaining to the coach where he would hit the ball with the bat.

Love of fun ... great park at the Wicksburg School ...
