Bay County Sheriff's Responded to a Report of a Shooting

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office responded to 9020 Ronnie Drive in Southport this morning at about 6:30 in response to the report of a shooting.
Deputies responded and found a deceased victim in the residence with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim has been identified as Bryan Thomas Anderson, age 44, of Southport. The suspect was identified as Jeremiah Beazley, age 44, of Panama City. A witness told deputies that Anderson and Beazley had been engaged in a confrontation when the shooting occurred.
The BCSO responded with Criminal Investigations, Crime Scene, Special Investigations, additional Patrol deputies, K9 Unit, and Air Unit. Additional assistance came from the US Marshals.
Beazley was soon located on Jeffrey Road in Southport at the home of an acquaintance. He was taken into custody and charged with an Open Count of Murder and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
