"Boot Bandit" Arrest Made - Enterprise Man

WASHINGTON COUNTY, FLORIDA:               Items reported stolen from The Westerner on Highway 90 in Chipley, Florida, have landed an Enterprise, Alabama, man in jail on theft charges in Washington County. 


Devon Scott Keisner, age 28, has been dubbed as the "Boot Bandit" as he was arrested yesterday in Washington County; he is facing petit theft charges.


Keisner, who was caught on video surveillance exiting the department store with the boots stowed away in his jacket, was apprehended yesterday afternoon.


Sherrif Crews of Washinton County thanked everyone for the phone calls and tips regarding this case and the use of the anonymous reporting system as it was a huge help in putting the "boot bandit" behind bars.
