Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall and his office went to Jefferson County this past week to stop crime. While electronic bingo is not attributed to the murder rate in Birmingham - Jefferson County, Attorney General Steve Marshall raided the electronic bingo in Lipscomb in Jefferson County.


Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall is quoted in saying “the brazen disregard for the laws of this state will not be tolerated. An illegal gambling enterprise that floats the established laws, victimizes local communities, and amasses tremendous profits from illegal operations”.

The battle over electronic bingo takes front seat to the ever increasing murder rate in Birmingham - Jefferson County. While Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall focus is on electronic bingo, children and adults are gunned down in the streets of Birmingham - Jefferson County.


Zero have been gunned down from electronic bingo.


According to law enforcement professionals, while murder can not be completely stopped, Birmingham - Jefferson County can be gotten under control. It  takes law enforcement backed by the leadership and court system.


So far in Birmingham - Jefferson County there is a brazen disregard for the laws against taking someone else’s life and the state law enforcement leaders tolerating it. But electronic bingo will not be tolerated.
