Burger sale to benefit breast cancer treatment for Officer Phillips

DOTHAN—After Dothan Police’s Officer Melissa Phillips was diagnosed with breast cancer, DPD is holding a burger sale to help her pay for treatment.
Phillips was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2024. She will have to have a double mastectomy in January 2025, along with a follow-up procedure in June 2025.
You can pay $10 for a hamburger, chips and a drink on December 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to help with the benefit. The event will be at the Dothan Police Department in the southside parking lot.
All proceeds will go to Officer Phillips.
