We are asking for our community's help again for one of our own. Officer Phillips has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. She will need medical procedures to treat her so she can continue to serve her family and community. We invite anyone able to come have lunch to benefit Officer Phillips. Our community has responded before because they are the #BestCommunityEver. See everyone December 20th.

After Dothan Police’s Officer Melissa Phillips was diagnosed with breast cancer, DPD is holding a burger sale to help her pay for treatment.
Phillips was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2024. She will have to have a double mastectomy in January 2025, along with a follow-up procedure in June 2025.
You can pay $10 for a hamburger, chips and a drink on December 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to help with the benefit. The event will be at the Dothan Police Department in the southside parking lot.
All proceeds will go to Officer Phillips.
