Burglary Suspect Arrested

WASHINGTON COUNTY, FLORIDA:       A Washington County resident was arrested over the weekend on burglary and grand theft charges.


On November 11, Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call reporting several items were stolen from a residence on Coralvine Drive. Upon arrival, it was determined that someone had broken into the residence and stole several items to include a generator, chainsaw, rods and reels, deer cameras, children’s toys, and much more.


Deputies began conducting an investigation that developed a suspect very early on. Deputies traveled to the suspect’s residence and conducted an interview.


During the interview, a confession was given and information pertaining to the location of the items was revealed.


Justin Luke Spivey, age 25, was arrested and charged with burglary and grand theft.
