Today was the scariest day of my life.. I got the call no mother wants to ever receive. My babygirl (escape artist) had slipped out of the side door and jumped in the pool, nearly drowning. - thanks to everyone who played a part in saving my girls life today!! From the bottom of my heart - I couldn't do this life without my baby!! Thank you Joseph Nunley for being the reason shes still here. We were life flighted to children's in Birmingham and arrived around 9 tonight - Kalani is OKAY! She does have fluid on her lungs and we are being monitored for pneumonia, because right now that is our biggest concern but other than that she's just shaken up and scared. I have no words to describe the pain I felt today, not knowing what was going to happen with my sweet baby. Y'all hold your babies tight because ANYTHING can happen in the blink of an eye. Noone is at fault and NO I'm not mad with her babysitter for anything! Accidents happen- I'm just blessed that they knew how to respond and knew what to do until EMT arrived!
