DOTHAN: These court cases are scheduled in the 20th Judicial Circuit in Houston and Henry County Alabama:


Note:  Juvenile don’t have Public Record Judge Lori Collier Ingram and Judge Henry “D” Butch Binford Handle all Juvenile Cases.


Note: Domestic Violence is not always Abuse Cases. They have cases like Petition for Custody, Petition to Modify.


HOUSTON COUNTY:


HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY DISTRICT COURT JUDGE BENJAMIN H LEWIS each morning has initial appearances. These are people who have not made bond. They are required to be seen by a Judge or Magistrate within 48 to 72 hours "of their arrest". Judge Lewis follows the law even when on holidays he or another Judge comes to the Houston County Jail for the initial appearances.


These persons are seen via a TV screen from the jail to the courtroom.


HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY DISTRICT-CRIMINAL JUDGE BENJAMIN LEWIS: Has District-Criminal with 5 cases for General Damages X 2, Misc DV Case X 3. He also has Small Claims with 14 cases for Account Collection, Misc SM Case, Contract/EJMNT/SEIZU.


HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY DISTRICT-CRIMINAL JUDGE LORI COLLIER INGRAM:  Has Child Support with 20 cases range from Child Support ADP, Paternity, Contempt/Rule NISI.


HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY CIRCUIT-CIVIL JUDGE M JOHN STEENSLAND III: Has Circuit-Civil with 3 cases for Contract/EJMNT/SEIZU, Other CV Case, Appealed from SM. In Domestic Relations he has 10 cases for Misc DR Case X 4, Petition for Custody X 4, Contested Divorce X 2.


HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY DISTRICT-CRIMINAL  JUDGE R TODD DERRICK: Has Circuit-Criminal with 116 cases range from Possess/Receipt Cont, Assault 2nd, Public Intoxication, Theft of Property 3rd, Cap-Murder. He also has District-Criminal  with 16 cases for Possess/Receipt Cont, Attempt to Elude, Mischief 1st.


HENRY COUNTY:


HONORABLE HENRY COUNTY CIRCUIT-CIVIL JUDGE M JOHN STEENSLAND III Has Circuit-Civil with  10 cases for Account Collection, Contract/EJMNT/SEIZU. Negligence-General,  Equity Non-Damage. He also Domestic Relation with 3 cases for Contested Divorce.
