DOTHAN: These court cases are scheduled in the 20th Judicial Circuit in Houston and Henry County Alabama:


Note:  Juvenile doesn’t have Public Record Judge Lori Collier Ingram and Judge Henry “D” Butch Binford Handle all Juvenile Cases.


Note: Domestic Violence is not always Abuse Cases. They have cases like Petition for Custody, Petition to Modify.


HOUSTON COUNTY:


HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY DISTRICT-CRIMINAL COURT JUDGE BENJAMIN H LEWIS each morning has initial appearances. These are people who have not made bond. They are required to be seen by a Judge or Magistrate within 48 to 72 hours "of their arrest". Judge Lewis follows the law even when on holidays he or another Judge comes to the Houston County Jail for the initial appearances.


These persons are seen via a TV screen from the jail to the courtroom.


HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY DISTRICT-CRIMINAL COURT JUDGE BENJAMIN LEWIS:  Has District-Criminal with 34 cases range from Stalking 2nd, Possess Marijuana 2nd, Use/Possess Drug Par, and  Dom Vio 3rd-Harassment.  She also has Domestic Relation with  1case for Protection From ABUSE.


HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY CIRCUIT-CRIMINAL COURT JUDGE R M JOHN STEENSLAND III: Has District-Criminal with 6 cases for Possess/Receipt Cont X  5, and Theft pf Property 1st.  In Circuit-Criminal he has 46 cases range from Capital Murder, Rec Stolen Prop 3rd, Possess/Receipt Cont, and Fraud Use Credit/Deb. He also has Domestic Relations with 1 case for Contested Divorce.


HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY CIRCUIT-CRIMINAL COURT JUDGE CHRISTOPHER K RICHARDSON:  Has District-Criminal with 1 case for Possess/Receipt Cont. He also had Circuit-Criminal with 1 case for Capital Murder- Robbery. In Domestic Relations he has 1 case for Contested Divorce.

HONORABLE HENRY COUNTY DISTRICT-CRIMINAL COURT JUDGE JAMES D PETERSON:  Has Traffic with 424 cases range from Speeding, No Child Restraint, Fail Display Warning, Improper Light and  Drive W/Suspended. He also has District-Criminal with 140 cases range from Assault 1st, Attempt to Elude, Reckless Endangerment,  Possess Marijuana 2nd and Theft of Services 3rd.
