DOTHAN: These court cases are scheduled in the 20th Judicial Circuit in Houston and Henry County Alabama:


Note:  Juvenile doesn’t have Public Record Judge Lori Collier Ingram and Judge Henry “D” Butch Binford Handle all Juvenile Cases.


Note: Domestic Violence is not always Abuse Cases. They have cases like Petition for Custody, Petition to Modify.


HOUSTON COUNTY:


HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY DISTRICT-CRIMINAL COURT JUDGE BENJAMIN H LEWIS each morning has initial appearances. These are people who have not made bond. They are required to be seen by a Judge or Magistrate within 48 to 72 hours "of their arrest". Judge Lewis follows the law even when on holidays he or another Judge comes to the Houston County Jail for the initial appearances.


These persons are seen via a TV screen from the jail to the courtroom.


HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY DISTRICT-CRIMINAL COURT JUDGE BENJAMIN LEWIS:  Has District-Criminal with 43 cases range from Possess Marijuana 2nd, Use/Possess Drug Par, Retail Theft 3rd, and Criminal Trespass 3rd.


HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY CIRCUIT-CIVIL COURT JUDGE CHRISTOPHER K RICHARDSON:  Has Circuit-Criminal with 59 cases range from Possess/Receipt Cont, Assault 2nd, Theft of Property 4th, Public intoxication and Theft of Services 3rd.  He also has Circuit-Civil with 2 cases for Contract/EJMNT/SEIZU, Medical Malpractice.


HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY CIRCUIT-CIVIL COURT JUDGE M JOHN STEENSLAND III: Has Circuit-Civil with 1 case for Medical Malpractice.


HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY CIRCUIT-CRIMINAL COURT JUDGE HENRY D “BUTCH” BINFORD:  Has Circuit-Criminal with 48 cases range from Burglary 3rd, Assault 2nd, Possess/Receipt Cont, Forgery 3rd, and Theft of Property 3rd. 


HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY CIRCUIT-CRIMINAL COURT JUDGE KEVIN MOULTON:  Has Domestic Relation with 1 case for Petition for Custody. He also has Circuit-Criminal with 85 cases rang e from Robbery 3rd, Porn Intent to Disse, Theft of Property 1st,  Possess Marihuana 1st and  Electronic Solicitation of a Child.


Henry County:


HONORABLE HENRY COUNTY DISTRICT-CRIMINAL COURT JUDGE JAMES D PETERSON:  Has Traffic with 18 cases for Fail Display, Racing on Highway, Speeding, Tinted Windows. He also has District-Criminal with 19 cases for Possess Marijuana 2nd, Unauthorized Use Vehicle, and Resisting Arrest
