DOTHAN: These court cases are scheduled in the 20th Judicial Circuit in Houston and Henry County Alabama:


Note:  Juvenile doesn’t have Public Record Judge Lori Collier Ingram and Judge Henry “D” Butch Binford Handle all Juvenile Cases.


Note: Domestic Violence is not always Abuse Cases. They have cases like Petition for Custody, Petition to Modify.


HOUSTON COUNTY:


HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY DISTRICT-CRIMINAL COURT JUDGE BENJAMIN H LEWIS each morning has initial appearances. These are people who have not made bond. They are required to be seen by a Judge or Magistrate within 48 to 72 hours "of their arrest". Judge Lewis follows the law even when on holidays he or another Judge comes to the Houston County Jail for the initial appearances.


These persons are seen via a TV screen from the jail to the courtroom.


HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY DISTRICT-CRIMINAL COURT JUDGE BENJAMIN LEWIS:  Has District- Criminal with 6 cases for Unauthorized Use Vehicle, Fish W/O Resident, Attempt to Elude, Reckless Endangerment,  Destr ST Prop/Inmate X 2. He also has Traffic with 62 cases range from DUI, Speeding, Drive W/Suspended, Blue Light Law, Improper Lane Usage and Driving Wrong Side HWY.


HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY CIRCUIT-CRIMINAL COURT JUDGE M JOHN STEENSLAND III: Has Districts-Criminal with 3 cases for Possess/Receipt Cont, Obstruct Justice X 2.  He also has Circuit-Criminal with 34 cases range from Assault 1st, Pistol Certain Person, Rec Stolen Prop 2nd, Public Intoxication and Theft of Property 3rd.


HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY DISTRICT-CRIMINAL COURT JUDGE LORI COLLIER INGRAM:  Has Child Support with 16 cases for Paternity, Contempt/Rule NISI, Petition to Modify, Petition for Support. She also has Domestic Relations with 20 cases for Interstate Modificat, Petition to Modify, Contempt/Rule NISI, and  UIFSA Contempt.


HONORABLE HOUSTON COUNTY CIRCUIT-CRIMINAL COURT JUDGE R TODD DERRICK:  Has Domestic Relation with 3 cases for Petition to Modify, Contested Divorce X 2.


Henry County:


HONORABLE HENRY COUNTY DISTRICT-CRIMINAL COURT JUDGE JAMES D PETERSON:  Has Child Support with 1 case for Petition for Custody.
