COFFEE COUNTY, ALABAMA:             The Coffee County Sheriff's Office gave the following tips for recognizing the signs of human trafficking:

-Person seems overly fearful, submissive, tense, or paranoid

-Person is deferring to another person before giving information

-Person has physical injuries or branding such as name tattoos on face or chest, tattoos about money or sex, or pimp phrases

Please be aware while traveling during the upcoming holidays!

If you see signs of human trafficking while traveling for the holidays, please call 911 immediately to report it and be ready to give as many details as possible..
