Millbrook mayor endorses Jeff Coleman


Republican 2nd Congressional candidate Jeff Coleman announced Thursday that he has been endorsed by Millbrook Mayor Al Kelley.


“Jeff Coleman is a strong conservative Republican for Congress who will represent the people of District 2 and Alabama with honor, integrity, and respect,” Kelley said in a statement. “Jeff has my full support and endorsement!”


“It’s an honor to receive the endorsement of such a strong leader in his community and region. I appreciate Mayor Al Kelley’s confidence in me to represent the great people of this district!” Coleman said.


Millbrook is in Elmore and Autauga Counties and has a 2018 population of 15,463. It is the 41st largest city in Alabama ranked by population.

Automobile Dealers Association of Alabama endorse Jeff Coleman for Congress




Republican 2nd Congressional District candidate Jeff Coleman said Wednesday that he has the endorsement of the Automobile Dealers Association of Alabama.



“It is a true honor to have the support from auto dealers across our great district,” Coleman said. “Alabama’s economic boom could not be possible without the effort and service of these job creators. I am encouraged by the outpouring of support by so many Alabama-based folks who are confident in my ability to stand with our President and bring our economy roaring back!”



Tom Dart is the President of the Automobile Dealers Association of Alabama.




Republican 2nd Congressional District candidate, former State Rep. Barry Moore, R-Enterprise, expressed his disappointment upon learning that his Republican runoff opponent, Dothan area businessman Jeff Coleman, had withdrawn from a scheduled debate between the two candidates on June 30 in Covington county.



The Moore campaign said that Coleman has also canceled three public forum appearances in recent days. The GOP sponsored forums were to feature both Moore and Coleman answering questions from the audience.



According to the Moore campaign, WDHN in Dothan reached out to both candidates in early May to schedule a debate and the Moore Campaign gave several dates of availability to the station. Coleman never confirmed any dates.

Luverne mayor Ed Beasley endorses Jeff Coleman


Republican congressional candidate Jeff Coleman on Monday announced that he has been endorsed by Luverne Mayor Ed Beasley.


“I want to thank Mayor Ed Beasley for his endorsement of my candidacy to become your next Congressman,” Coleman said in a statement. “Mayor Beasley has been a great public servant to the town of Luverne, and I look forward to working with him to continue to improve our communities!”


Mayor Beasley stated, “Jeff Coleman is a strong candidate for Congress and I know that he will represent our district and ensure that our voice is heard in Washington.”
