Today from 1:30 PM until 5:00 PM Volunteer Fire members from Kinsey, Webb, Southern Junction, Hodgesville, Gordon, Lovetown,Cottonwood Rescue, John Stokes and Ricky Beck joined Dothan-Houston County Emergency Management Director Chris Judah in moving PPE stock pile supplies he’d for 9 counties to another building.
A Dothan businessman had been very nice in providing a building for Dothan-Houston County Emergency Management from when COVID a started in March 2020.
These men joined hands to help Director Chris Judah move this equipment. Rickey Stokes rented a U-Haul out of his pocket to log and move things. I do not normally mention what I do personally but I am going to start because of people’s comments.
I thank the Dothan businessman for his willingness to use the building.
The Houston County Commission has refused to build a warehouse for Emergency Management to house the supplies and equipment for
Mass casualty incidents. Commissioner Sinquefield and Harvey would. Think Chairman Cuover would but Herring and Shoupe, well...
