Dothan Area Chamber And Southeast AlabamaWorks Present Business Workforce Development Champion Awards

Dothan, Ala.: Officials from the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce and Southeast Alabama Works partnered together to present two area businesses with a Business Workforce Development Champion award. Recognized for their strong business commitment to developing, inspiring and building a culture of success for employees, awards were presented to: 1. Jim Whaley Tires Inc.; and 2. Smart Lam North America – Dothan Division. “Today, we stopped to celebrate the accomplishments of organizations and businesses that are actively engaged in the development and education of our citizens. Workforce development is a critical part of a growing and prosperous community, and we applaud these companies for being champions in this effort. Let’s enjoy this moment and salute local leaders and individuals that are providing opportunities for our citizens while also making their businesses better and our community stronger,” said DACC Chairman Walter Hill.
