We would like everyone to stop and take a moment to recognize a young man who played baseball this year for Dothan Leisure Services American League. In a world we live in where every child get a trophy sometimes there are extra trophies for extra-ordinary people. 


This year JayCarter Rich received the Jim Bob Kelley Award from the Dothan Leisure Services.


If your familiar with the Dothan Leisure Baseball then you know that the Jim Bob Kelley died in an accident years ago. This award is not the MVP award but it is even better. It is for a second year player who exemplifies a fun loving attitude, true sportsmanship, leadership and a true love of baseball throughout the year. This award is voted on by only the umpires in the league 


This is probably the highest award you could receive! Better than AllStars!


Way to go and Congratulations to JayCarter and his family.
