The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has expanded the
* Flash Flood Watch to include a portion of southeast Alabama,
including the following areas, Coffee, Dale, Geneva, Henry and
* Through Wednesday morning
* As Tropical Storm Sally approaches the northern Gulf Coast, bands
of heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected to move northward
into the Southeast Alabama through mid-week. Storm total rainfall
amounts of 4 to 6 inches with locally heavier amounts up to 8
inches are possible.
Do not enter or cross flowing water or water of unknown depth.
Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
