Fleeing Suspect Arrested

HOLMES COUNTY: On May 10th, 2024, a pursuit was initiated by Samson PD involving a vehicle heading south on Hwy 81. Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the situation and the suspect was apprehended at the intersection of Hwy 81 and Hwy 2A prior to their arrival.


The driver, identified as Kevin Bruce, was found to be heavily intoxicated upon our arrival. Mr. Bruce admitted to consuming alcohol prior to driving. Consequently, he has been arrested and charged with DUI and fleeing and attempting to elude.
