On Saturday, February 8, 2020, a Deputy with the Uniform Patrol Division conducted a traffic stop on a green Ford sedan for an expired registration. During the Deputy's contact identification was requested from the occupants of the vehicle and a passenger provided a name and date of birth to the Deputy. A check of ELVIS (Electronic License and Vehicle Information System) the Deputy observed that the passenger did not appear to be the same person as the one pictured in the ELVIS database. The passenger did admit to providing a false name and was identified as Eduardo Vicente. A check of FCIC/NCIC returned back information that Vicente had an active warrant out of Lake County, FL for Violation of Probation. Vicente was placed under arrest to be held for Lake County and additionally charged with Giving a False Name to Law Enforcement and transported to Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance.
