FORT RUCKER, AL -

Fort Rucker’s Department of the Army Civilians, approximately 2,200 personnel, began receiving notifications of a proposed unpaid furlough Tuesday that will take effect beginning on or around early to mid July 2013.

The furlough will impact the Fort Rucker civilian workforce across a 3-month period from July through September, one day per week without pay for a total of 11 days. The furlough will impact all DA civilians across the installation no matter their pay grade, position or organization with few exemptions.
