Foster Fest As Of 10:00 PM A Success With No Trouble

DOTHAN:    10:00 PM.    Tonight as I walked down Foster Street from Adams Street I was reminded of the National Peanut Festival when it was held at the Houston County Farm Center.

When NPF was held at the Farm Center it was a smaller venue and you got to see pretty much all people from the community. Granted that was a time when everyone knew everyone.

There were food vendors, crafts, people singing, ice cream vendors, and a lot of people. One estimated around 10,000 People at least.

Dothan Police were in full force because the last Foster Fest a group attempted to create trouble. This month multiple uniform and plain clothes officers were spread throughout the venue. Dothan Police Chief Steve Parrish was personally on hand making sure all went well.

A successful even.
