Frost advisory Friday night for Wiregrass; Covington County under freeze warning

The Wiregrass is under a frost advisory, with temperatures which could go as low as 33 degrees. Dale, Houston, Henry, Coffee, Geneva and Early counties are affected.


Temperatures will drop around midnight and stay chilly into Saturday morning.


Frost and freeze can kill sensitive vegetation. If you have outdoor plants, bring them inside to prevent the frost from killing them.


Covington County is under a freeze warning, where temperatures could dip as low as 31 degrees.
