Fugitive from Justice Arrested in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY: On Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received information that a wanted fugitive from Georgia, Cody Allen Adkins, was in Jackson County attempting to avoid arrest.

Deputies confirmed Adkins had an active warrant out of Seminole County, Georgia for Violation of Probation for the original charge of Armed Robbery.



Deputies immediately began attempting to locate Adkins. On Sunday, Nov. 17, around 10:30 a.m., deputies located Adkins in Marianna. Adkins was arrested and will be held as a fugitive from justice until he is extradited back to Georgia.
