LOWNDES COUNTY AL:     If Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall put as much effort to stopping all of the murders in Jefferson County as he has electronic bingo, more people might be alive today.

Just three months into a black male defeating the long time Sheriff of Jefferson County, Attorney General Steve Marshall demanded the Sheriff raid and close the bingo facilities. If he did not then Marshall was assemble a task force and his office would raid and close them.

The new Sheriff said all of the murders and violent crime were his concern and not the electronic bingo. Attorney General Steve Marshall put a task force from the Alabama Attorney General Office and ALEA, raided the bingo facilities and seized over $ 200,000.00.

The courts ruled that Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall lied, the raids were politically motivated, and ordered Marshall to return the seized money.

The election 2022 Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall went to Jefferson County politicking for the opponent of the black man who beat the white man as Jefferson County Sheriff.

When the voters spoke on election day the incumbent black man was re-elected.

Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall never assembled a task force to stop the violent crime, only electronic bingo.

Marshall has now been able to close the Lowndes County Electronic Bingo. The Indians continue to play the predominately black Lowndes County was court ordered to close the electronic bingo.
