Graceville Man Arrested

HOLMES COUNTY, FLORIDA:         On December 4, Holmes County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Highway 2 near Esto. The vehicle was being driven by Marley Booker from Graceville, Florida.


While the deputy was talking with Booker, it was learned that the tag on the vehicle had been altered, and Booker’s license was suspended.


He was detained, and a search of his person revealed a container with a white residue that field tested positive for cocaine.


A search of the vehicle produced a firearm in which the serial number had been removed along with approximately sixty grams of marijuana.


Booker was already on probation for a firearm-related offense; he was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license is suspended, and possession of a firearm with an altered serial number.
