JACKSON COUNTY :On Sunday, March 28, 2021, at approximately 9:41 AM, a Deputy with the Uniform Patrol Division responded to a residence on Old US Road, in reference to a suspicious incident. The Deputy made contact with C B Miller, who advised that he had been confronted by two men, for hunting on property that was not his. During the investigation Miller produced the firearm he was hunting with, and witnesses also gave a description of the same firearm. A check of FCIC/NCIC databases returned back information that Miller had a prior felony conviction and was the respondent in a non-expiring injunction, which prohibited him from possessing firearms. Miller was placed under arrest and transported to Jackson County Correctional Facility to await First appearance.
