Today I placed this crimson and white ( roll tide ) floral arrangement in the arms of the Angel of Hope for my dear friend…Haley Kirkland Forrest.
I’ve Seen And Met Angels Wearing The Disguise Of Ordinary People Living Ordinary Lives
Haley Kirkland Forrest Was One Of Those Angels On Earth
On January 8, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer, Haley’s Lord and Savior wrapped His loving arms around her and carried Haley to her Heavenly Home.
I had the honor of meeting Haley seven years ago when I started a Cakes For Haley fundraiser.
Sometimes A Hug Is Worth A Thousand Words
Haley’s Hug Was Worth A Million Words
I’ll never ever forget the hug she gave me.
Haley was born to David and Joy Morris Kirkland on June 30, 1983 in Birmingham, Alabama.
After graduating with honors from Rehobeth High School, Haley attended the University of Alabama where she was a Crimsonette (Majorette) in the Million Dollar Band while her brother played an instrument at the same time.
As a faithful member of Memphis Baptist Church, Haley loves her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Haley was a very kind, thoughtful, and outgoing young lady who never met a stranger. She always filled the room with her amazing presence.
Haley was a girly girl, always showing the art of a true lady.
She married the love of her life, Jacob Forrest after college, and began a story book family having twin daughters that she dearly Loves and Cherishes.
I will always cherish the messages i received from Haley that always ended with I Love You …I will always cherish the messages to her mom and dad that always ended with I love y’all ??
Haley I’ll be looking for another hug when the day comes that God calls me Home…I love you
Joy and David
I love you.
Thank you so much for having a daughter who was born an Angel on Earth.
Thank you for having a daughter who made this world a better place to be.
WE LOVE YOU HALEY
