HEADLAND FIRE - RESCUE GETS NEW AMBULANCE


Captain Wilkerson, Lieutenant Hatcher, and Lieutenant Williams made the trip down to Orlando to the fabrication plant where Headland Fire-Rescue’s newest fleet addition is being finalized and prepared for delivery. Thank you to Mayor Marler, the Headland City Council, Chief Jones, and most importantly, the citizens of Headland for making this a reality. This is a state of the art Type 1 ambulance with innovations in every aspect from the Howler Siren in the front to the powered loading system in the back. It also features innovative crew member safety harnesses that enable you to work on a patient comfortably and safely. A full list of specifications wouldn’t fit here, and we can’t wait to see her finished. Thank you again, and as always, we look forward to serving with pride.
