Henry County Sheriff Makes Arrest In Stabbing

On Monday 02/09/2015 at approximately 6:30 am, Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office and Agents from the Henry County SO/ Abbeville PD Criminal Investigative Unit responded to Saints trailer park in Newville to answer an assault call.  Officers found the victim, Jeffery Lindsey with several stab wounds, he was transported to Southeast Alabama Medical Center by Headland Fire and Rescue.  After the investigation James Lance Banks 29  and Khadijah Halimah Abdulah  28 were arrested for the following charges:

 

Banks was arrested for Attempted murder and Unlawful possession of a controlled substance with bonds totaling $156,000.00

 

Abdullah was arrested for Attempted murder with a bond of $50,000.00

 

Both suspects were placed in the Henry County Jail.
