Herny County Sheriff's Responded to the 300 Block of County Road 225 in the Bethlehem Community Multiple Gunshots Fired

HENRY COUNTY:On August 25th at approximately 9:55pm, Patrol Units with the Henry County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 300 block of County Road 225 in the Bethlehem Community. As deputies arrived on scene they heard multiple gunshots being fired, the deputies began to gain control over the scene and conduct an assessment of the incident.
Deputies made contact with a male subject with a gunshot wound to the hip/waist area. They began to render aid to the victim and once stabilized the subject was transported from the scene by patrol units to responding EMS on US Highway 431.
The Henry County Task Force began investigating the incident and as a result the following individuals were charged:
Zydarrias Tyshaun Miller, age 20, of Dothan was arrested and charged with Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling with bonds totaling $50,000. Miller also had 4 warrants from Henry County for Failure to Appear on Traffic Violations.
Cordaryl Raysean Sewell, age 31, of Abbeville was arrested and charged with Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle with bonds totaling $50,000.
Sherman Peterman Jr, age 53, of Abbeville was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property II (firearm) and Attempting to Elude. Peterman’s bonds totaled $5,000.

It has been and will continue to be a priority of the Henry County Sheriff’s Office to ensure that every one of our citizens and guests are safe while they are here. I would like to personally thank the Abbeville Police Department for their assistance last night as well as both the Abbeville and Headland Rescue Squads. I would also like to commend the responding officers for gaining control over the scene and performing life saving measures to the victim” - Sheriff Eric Blankenship.
