Hero’s come in all forms. You see the blue lights, you know you have backup. Redlights when firefighters are there to save the day...but you know what you never see...the True 1st Responders. Those men and women that answer your 911 calls. You call, they answer. You cry, they comfort. You need help, they send it. This was never more evident than last night. Dothan and Houston Co Dispatchers handled 6 confirmed tornadoes in our area, trees down on houses, trees blocking roadways, people on home oxygen terrified because their electricity is out. You will never see their face, never hear them cry with you as they handle your heartbreaking situations, but they are heroes just the same. Thank you to all the dispatchers that took care of Dothan/Houston Co last night and thank you for making sure everyone got home safe
