High-Speed Motorcycle Pursuit Ends in Arrest Holmes County

HOLMES COUNTY: On November 26, 2024, a Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputy attempted to stop a black motorcycle traveling on Highway 81. The driver, later identified as Brandon Wagner, refused to stop and fled northbound at speeds exceeding 100 mph, initiating a pursuit.
Wagner turned onto Ammons Road and then onto Shade Tree Lane, where he attempted a U-turn but lost control and wrecked. Following the crash, Wagner fled on foot toward a nearby trailer park.
After a short foot pursuit, deputies apprehended and took him into custody without further incident.
Brandon Wagner faces the following charges Fleeing and Attempting to Elude, Reckless Driving, Driving While License Suspended, Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle, Attaching Tag Not Assigned, No Motorcycle Endorsement, and Resisting Arrest Without Violence
The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office commends the quick response and teamwork of deputies involved in safely bringing this dangerous situation to an end.
