Hit-and-Run Involving Bicyclist

DEFUNIAK SPRINGS, FLORIDA: Currently, Walton County Sheriff's Office is on the scene of a hit-and-run involving a bicyclist on Woodyard Road in DeFuniak Springs.
Woodyard Road is shut down at this time. Florida Highway Patrol is on the scene and will be investigating the crash.
The cyclist was taken by Walton Air Rescue, Florida to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.
The only description the Walton County Sherrif's Office is able to confirm for the suspect vehicle is that the vehicle will have damage to a headlight and fog light (unsure if that will be the driver or passenger side) and is believed to be a car.
