DOTHAN:     On Thursday a mom and her son were drivingon West Main Street. They were right at JACKS'S Restaurant  on West Main Street near Montana Street and Edgewood at the traffic light.


It was sometime beween 4 and 4:30 PM. They were at the traffic light.


A white Tahoe struck this son and his mom while traveling at a speed of about 40 to 45 miles per hour. Struck from behind and fled the scene of the accident.


The mom and her son were traveling in a black Volkswagon Jetta.


The white Tahoe is believed to have a busted raditor and leaking fluid.


A SIX YEAR OLD CHILD HAS BEEN TRANSPORTED TO BIRMINGHAM ALABAMA


The six year old child is reported to have a skull fracture.


The mom driving with her son is a foster parent. The vehicle is totaled and he is having to care for her children and the child in Birmingham.
