HOLMES COUNTY – Investigators with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office have issued warrants for the arrest of 20-year-old Joshua Aaron De la Rosa in connection with a 2019 burglary.

Deputies first responded to the burglary at a residence in the Noma community, where the victim advised gaming equipment and several thousands of dollars in firearms and accessories had been stolen from the home.

During the course of the investigation, investigators were able to identify De la Rosa as a suspect in the case and obtained warrants for burglary and grand theft.

De la Rosa, who had come to the area to do work following Hurricane Michael, is believed to be in Arkansas. HCSO is working with law enforcement officials in that state to have him picked up and taken into custody. This post will be updated soon with a photo.
