Holmes County Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest of a Alabama Woman

BONIFAY - On April 24, 2021, a HCSO deputy stopped a Dodge Charger on Hwy 173 being driven by Lavett Vann from Enterprise, Alabama for attaching tag not assigned.
A computer check also revealed that Vann’s license were suspended. Vann was placed under arrest and a search of the vehicle was conducted.
Located in the center console was a container containing marijuana. A black tote was also located in the car that belong to the passenger Rashena Jackson also from Enterprise Inside the tote were two meth pipes along with a small amount of meth.
Jackson was arrested and charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Vann faces charges of possession of marijuana -20 grams, driving while license suspended, and attaching a tag not assigned.
