DOTHAN: 11:39 PM. My eyes into Southeast Health tell me they have no beds in the Emergency Department.
I am told there are as many as 60 people in the Emergency Department waiting room.
As someone who was given the great present of COVID for their birthday Monday, me, this COVID is for real. In reading news from other areas, like around Atlanta Georgia, they are having to do as we are around here and close schools to virtual only because of limited or no workforce.
Since Monday evening when it was confirmed I was COVID positive I have been at home. Yes, I have gotten out and rode around some but never stopping and talking to anyone or going in a business. Just as quarantined in my truck as in the house. I have walked outside and around in the yard. I am a firm believer that if you constantly lay around this gunk gets into your lungs and then there are major problems.
Today though I have been tired and a headache all day and have slept most all day, off and on. More on than off! But I try and move around, sit up, walk, and drive around some.
This is my second time having COVID. For the first time, beyond the first day, not many problems and felt pretty good. Have fought breathing issue since the first time and giving out easy.
This time, probably, felt worse then the first time. Have definitely coughed more and a headache more.
PRAISES TO GOD, so far not caused me to go to the hospital or be bad - bad. I have remained quarantined and staying alone.
THANKS to the eyes and ears who have sent me scene photos and information on things happening.
