HOUSTON COUNTY: This morning Houston County Circuit Clerk Carla Woodall held a Press Conference along with Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza and Houston County Probate Judge Patrick Davenport about some issues with scams in this year’s elections.


It has been brought to the attention of the Absentee Election Manager that individuals are going around door to door with blank applications, pressing voters to sign the blank application and obtaining copies of driver licenses and other personal information.


Mrs. Woodall urged caution when these people come to your door about giving out that information. Several complaints have been filed and all the information has been collected and turned over to the Houston County Sheriff’s Office.
