Houston County Sheriff’s Office Needs Your Help in Locating a Missing Person

At approximately 4:30 pm Thursday June 6, 2019 Linda LaVallet St. Pierre walked off from her residence in the 8700 block of South County Road 55 in Cottonwood. St Pierre had been outside with her son, William Roberts when she walked towards the front of the residence. A short time later Roberts went inside the and was unable to locate St Pierre. Roberts searched the residence and found her cigarettes on the front porch. Roberts also located her cell phone, purse and wallet in her bedroom. Roberts searched around the property attempting to locate her but did not find her. Roberts contacted family members to see if someone had stopped and picked her up. Roberts contacted 911 at 6:15 pm to report her missing. Houston County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the scene. Deputies canvassed the area and deployed K-9 tracking dogs in an attempt to locate St Pierre. The K-9 was unable to pick up a sent trail outside St. Pierre’s yard. Deputies deployed a drone with infrared technology to attempt to located her from the air but no sign of her. All hospitals have been contacted. At this time there has been no sign of St. Pierre or clues to her whereabouts. St Pierre is considered to be an endangered elderly person, St. Pierre is listed as a missing person and a silver alert has been issued for her. St. Pierre has several medical issues and walks with a pronounces limp. She was last seen wearing a t-shirt, red shorts and sandals.
