MONTGOMERY: Kudos to Alabama Governor Kay Ivey and Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall.
In the capital city for the State of Alabama, this Tuesday Montgomery Police Department launched there 27th murder investigation in the year 2019. That is, 27 people have been murdered so far this year in the Capital City for the State of Alabama.
In Jefferson County, a total of 105 people murdered in 2019. Of those 105, the murders in the City of Birmingham was 71 of the 105.
Governor Ivey, you command over the Alabama Attorney General and other law enforcement. The failure to Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall who clearly said Alabama Law gives him the authority to enter a jurisdiction and conduct investigations, is apparently doing ZERO - NOTHING - to help the great City of Montgomery, Alabama'a Capital, to get the crime and murder rate down.
Already mentioned Birmingham and Jefferson County. AG Marshall took law enforcement from the Attorney General's Office and ALEA - the state law enforcement agency, to Jefferson County to raid bingo.
But AG Steve Marshall is just sitting by and letting the people in Montgomery and Jefferson County murder each other. Guess does not matter the violent murders of Alabama.
The thoughts that run through my head, Alabama Governor Kay Ivey and Alabama Attorney General, has:
(1) no regard for human lives, or
(2) scared and cowards
These areas can get under control. They just have to roll up their sleeves and go to work and not worry about those who holler.
But if I was Alabama Governor or Alabama Attorney General I would hang my head in shame and disgrace knowing I am letting violent crime get out of control like this.
