FROM OZARK ATTORNEY WILL MATTHEWS IN WEDNESDAY
Yesterday a young man from Alabama living in Reston, Va., had to take an UBER to the train station to get to work. His wife needed the car to pick up her mother at the airport. The UBER driver made a wrong turn which made the young man late for his train. When he was approaching the breezeway to the train he saw a man on the ground. None of the people there stopped to render aid. This young man did. The man had stopped breathing and had no pulse. The young man had been certified in CPR 6 times and proceeded to do chest compressions. The man was purple and was dying. At some point an African American lady stopped and was doing mouth to mouth on the man while the young man was doing the chest compressions. Eventually the paramedics got there and took the man to the hospital. The young man from Alabama that saved that man’s life was my son David Matthews. He had been a life guard in high school and college and was able to help. There’s no doubt in my mind that God made my son late so he could save the man. There was also a poor lady kneeling beside them praying for the man. Please feel free to share this. I’m very proud of my son David. ???
