Local Dental Practice Crows to serve Wiregrass Needs Foundations Dental Group Welcomes Stella Heersink, DMD

DOTHAN, AL: August 2, 2024: Responding to the growing dental needs in this area, Foundations

Dental Group is pleased to announce the addition of a new dentist to their practice. Dr. Stella

Heersink comes to the Wiregrass from Society Hill Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA. She joins the

Foundations team comprised of Dr. Bayne Heersink, Dr. Wilkerson Mahone, Dr. Jordan Rains and

Dr. Riley Rains.

“After recently moving to the area, I have felt warmly welcomed by the Dothan community. I’m

thrilled to be joining the accomplished team at Foundations in providing top-notch dental care to

local patients,” says Dr. Stella Heersink.

Originally from Springfield, Ohio, Dr. Heersink obtained her BA in Biochemistry from Miami

University in Ohio and her DMD from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. She spent a

year in Columbus, Ohio followed by three years in Philadelphia. She is a member of the American

Dental Association and the Alabama Dental Association.

Personally, Dr. Heersink loves sewing and DIY projects, staying active and spending time with her

friends and family. She and her husband, Marius Heersink, MD, are excited to plant roots in the

Wiregrass where Marius grew up. She is now accepting new patients and begins late August.
