Long Time Alabama EMS Director Dies

Alabama Gulf EMS Director David Garmon passed away Friday. Garmon was not only a paramedic, but was the Executive Director of the Gulf EMS Region for 24 years, He was also a professor at the University of South Alabama. According to a Facebook post from Alabama Gulf EMS "David has been the driving force and face of EMS in our region. What David has done for EMS in the state of Alabama and the Gulf Region will never be forgotten." He was a graduate from the University of Alabama-Birmingham in 1995.
