Lynn Haven Man Arrested for Domestic Violence Battery and Violation of Probation

Lynn Haven Police have arrested a local man on felony charges in connection to a reported kidnapping incident. On September 6, 2023, at approximately 12:30pm, Officers of the Lynn Haven Police Department responded to multiple 911 reports of a female having been physically forced into a car in a parking lot located in the 3000 block of Highway 77. The suspect vehicle had fled the scene prior to the arrival of police and an investigation was initiated.
With limited information to go on from eyewitnesses, Investigators sought intelligence and technical investigative assistance from the Bay Real Time Operations Center (BAYROC) which again proved critical in bringing this case to a swift and successful conclusion. During the investigation, the suspect vehicle was positively identified, and an alert was issued to local law enforcement agencies.
Shortly thereafter, the suspect vehicle was intercepted by members of the Panama City Police Department near West 23rd Street and Collegiate Drive where Officers were able to verify the welfare of the victim and to take the suspect into custody.
Nathan Wade Goodman was charged with False Imprisonment, Domestic Violence Battery, and Violation of Probation. He was transported to the Bay County Jail, where he was to be held pending his First Appearance before a local Judge.
