Lynn Haven Police have Arrested a Moultrie Georgia Man and a Local Man on Multiple Felony Drug Charges

LYNN HAVEN FLA :Lynn Haven Police have arrested a Moultrie, Georgia teen and a local man on multiple felony drug charges after they were observed in a parked vehicle behind a local pharmacy which was closed for business at the time. As they were approached by officers, the passenger, 17-year-old, Caron Shontonio Robinson fled the scene carrying a backpack. The driver, twenty-two-year-old, Jared Javaris Taylor was detained at the scene. While investigating this incident, officers smelled an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle yielded approximately 35 grams of high-grade marijuana and related drug paraphernalia consistent with the distribution of illicit drugs.


Caron Shontonio Robinson was apprehended a short distance away after a foot pursuit. When he was caught, Robinson was no longer in possession of the backpack that he had fled with. The backpack in question was later recovered along the path that Robinson had fled and was found to contain: 135 grams of high-grade marijuana, 10 milligrams of Oxycodone, a fully loaded, high-powered, AK-47 style “Draco” pistol with (92) rounds of ammunition and $455.00 in cash as well as Robinsons’ identification. Robinson was charged with: Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of more than 20 grams of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Carrying a Concealed Firearm, Possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony and Unlawful possession of a firearm by a minor. He was booked into the Bay Regional Juvenile Detention Facility where he will be held pending his First Appearance before a local Judge.



Jared Javaris Taylor was charged with Possession of more than (20) grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Taylor was booked into the Bay County Jail, where he will be held pending his First Appearance before a local Judge.
