Man has Be Charged with Child Endangerment for Leaving an Infant in Car

GENEVA, Ala. (WDHN) — A man has been charged with child endangerment for allegedly leaving an infant in a car.
The one-month-old infant nearly died after being left in a hot vehicle in the Geneva Walmart parking lot. The outside temperature at the time was in the mid-90s.
A Walmart customer heard the baby boy whimpering and brought the child into the store and called the police.
The baby survived and is in good condition.
The mother’s boyfriend, Aderean Peoples, 31, is the first to be arrested in this case.
He’s being transported to Georgia on several unrelated felony charges. Authorities are now searching for the baby’s mother, who will also be charged with child endangerment.
